Who We Are

Change The Vote is an organization unaffiliated with any political party or group and welcomes people from all backgrounds to join us.  Whether you are a liberal or conservative, a college student or entering retirement, everyone is welcome here.   The founders of this organization all have different political views, but what we do share is a love for America and the belief that we live in the greatest nation in the world. We have come together to put the power of politics back into the hands of the people who make up this great country.

Like most of you, we are hardworking Americans with hopes and dreams for the future; we face the same struggles all of you do on a daily basis.   Through this organization our goal is to once again make America a place where everyone has a voice and  the best opportunity in the world to succeed.

We at Change the Vote feel Americans no longer have a voice that is heard in Washington.  Our political system has created the same power structure our founding fathers fought so hard to break away from.   If you feel your vote no longer matters, you are not alone.  Only 1% of Americans are millionaires yet more than half of our elected representatives in Congress are.  Corporations spend billions of  dollars per year lobbying and buying votes which fit their needs and not the nation’s.  Essentially, politics has become a business run by the wealthy and by corporations willing to pay top dollar for a vote.

Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican you are no longer represented in our government, but are instead led by a higher oligarchy that uses the other 99% of the nation as pawns.   Our vote today is bought and paid for by corporations on both sides of the aisle,  pandering and selling to us what we want to hear, while behind closed doors they are making deals to ensure only the most powerful will stay there.

Change The Vote was created to empower the people of America to recognize our votes do count.  Young and old, singles and families, liberals and conservatives, we can take back our country and elect officials to office who truly represent who we are as individuals and as a nation.  America and our form of government is the greatest in the world.  Together we can place the power of America back into the hands of the people.   Join us, and as one voice, we can take back our nation in the name of those who built it.  Together, all of us as individuals can Change The Vote.
